Program Management
When a family begins working with a Launch tutor, they are also appointed a full-time Director who is responsible for managing the program and ensuring that the student meets his or her goals. Our Directors have rich backgrounds in education and specialize in the areas of test preparation, educational program design, classroom instruction, and school administration.
Lesson Notes
After every lesson, our tutors must submit thorough and thoughtful lesson notes into ‘LaunchPad,’ our online system that houses a robust file for every student with whom we work. Parents can review lesson notes themselves by logging into LaunchPad with a private username and password.
24/7 Support
Directors make themselves available to families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They gladly give out their mobile phone numbers and personal email addresses to families, schools, and other relevant educational professionals.
Progress Reports
Twice a year, Directors personally meet with families to share progress reports. Progress reports contain a summary of everything we have learned about the student and evaluate the success of the tutor-student match. More specifically, progress reports synthesize our initial goals for the student, the areas in which the student has improved, and the changes that should be made moving forward.
