At Launch Education Group, we stay closely attuned to the most prevalent learning differences (LDs) – ADD/ADHD, executive functioning issues, auditory and visual processing disorders, dyslexia, and nonverbal learning challenges – in order to support our students who struggle in one or more of these areas. We work closely with our colleague and educational therapy consultant, Carolyn McWilliams, to ensure that we are knowledgeable and prepared when it comes to addressing LDs.
Our team of LD specialists is led by our Director of Tutoring Services in Los Angeles, Tim Benson, M.Ed. Tim has a wealth of experience in special education and gifted program design, as well as elementary school instruction. Accordingly, he is able to create programs and prescribe strategies for students with diverse learning challenges.
It is important to note that we work in partnership with a wide array of educational therapists, psychologists, and learning specialists. If a student’s particular learning challenges fall outside of our company’s scope, we are able to refer the family to an appropriate professional.
